
An afternoon for young and old
At Cedar Summit Farm
New Prague, MN
Sunday, September 9, 2007 1 to 7 p.m.
Talks on local blue cheese, wine, beer and grass-fed beef were given.
Spit-roasted steamship round of grass-fed beef, an 86-lb. cut, was prepared by Ron Huff and friends.
Blue cheeses, wine and beer, apple crisp and ice cream were provided.
Attendees brought side dishes, salads, breads, cakes and cookies.
The Strollers blues trio performed.
A mini farmers market took place at the end.
For children: milk tasting, scavenger hunt, hot dogs, hamburgers and root beer floats.
